Monthly product review June 2022

Hey Martians,

A month have passed, and it is a time to sum up on what we have achieved and share our plans for July and August.

On achievements side, a couple of things to be happy about are:

  • Launched Polygon planet
  • Kicked off play-to-earn initiative
  • Improved internal processes (product, marketing, hiring)

More details on our achievements in June, please refer to the image attached:

At the same time, we’ve faced a few challenges related to Harmony Hack and market conditions which affected our growth both on user side and within the team. However, we continue working and supporting both Harmony and Polygon community.

Our next directions and goals for July and August 2022 will be:

  • Focus on growth and user engagement → building features that people love and getting excited about)
  • Play-to-earn transition → starting from decrypt mission on Harmony, we plan to adopt play to earn and across both Harmony and Polygon within the next few months)
  • Polygon adoption → goal here will be added missing features on Polygon and enable more players to join the community)

**Key results & initiatives to drive these goals **

Most likely in July

1: Polygon growth initiatives (referral program, slashing rewards if not claimed on time, allow non-avatar owners to play & earn missions, allow purchases of land for native CLNY token; planet stats)
2: Mining missions
3: In-app music
4: Adding landscape view, avatars and missions to Polygon
5: Buffs/de-buffs from avatar professions, levels and rarity**

Most likely in August-September:

1: In-game leaderboard
2: Spacex on Polygon
3: Open utility boxes and obtain utility NFTs
4: In-app marketplace for land and other NFTs
5: Robot missions

Map for the mining mission looks promising.

Good call for postponing the CLNY staking, I’m sure not many would be interested at the moment. But it will be an interesting feature in the coming months.

Focusing on missions and on P2E transitioning is a great call.

I think we are in a much better state then we were a month before. Thanks to the both team making improvements in communication and prioritizing things, and also thanks to some community members leaving and that way having the voices of the real believers in the project.

So if landowners go on vacation and they don’t claim they get their production slashed? What kind of nonsense is that?

Who is responsible for this logic? Your trying to unboard people right, not alienate them.
