Price of fuel rods is currently not discounted to incentivize bulk purchases. It is 10 CLNY per rod no matter how many you buy (5 for 50 CLNY, 25 for 250 CLNY). Request discount be applied to bulk purchases (e.g. 25 rods for 200 CLNY).
