Fellow Martian, we are growing at a rapid pace, and we noticed that community engagement is not doing well. So we thought of a second proposal for the betterment of our community.

We had several suggestions that we need moderators and bots both on the discord server snd telegram. To solve this concern, the team considered hiring three mods that will be helping the community. And I’m one of them🙌

Proposal:
Hire mods for better server and community engagements

Budget:
Allocate $200 each per week(600 total)

This will be the main role of the mods for both servers:

• Establish/enforce rules that will be helpful for a safe and healthy community.
• Help on growing the community by engaging and informing new people on what to do in Mars.
• Work on the development of both servers starting with the look and style of the server.
• Dedicate almost all of their time everyday in the server.

Timeline:
Mods will start as soon as the community votes and likes the idea.
It will end once the community thinks that mods are not needed in both servers.

I’m all for it! We need community mods and we need them around the clock. perhaps they could be on alternating 8 hours shifts?

I liked the idea so far. I agree that we really need mods that can take care to the server while devs can focus more on their roadmap.

Another suggestion would be to ask for help from the DFK team, a sort of mentoring. Ask how they grew the team, which urgent issues needed to be resolved early on, how they hired community help (artists, marketing, mods).
